"Maybe you'll show me, someday. But, y'know, it does make sense that he'd have sentiment toward a robot," Wash admitted.
Wash spent some time considering the device after Timmy left. He flipped the waffle iron open and closed it. He put it aside and dealt with his ingredients instead, looking for a bowl and leaving all of the cabinet doors open in the process.
"Yeah. The City left her here with a pamphlet and looking for her dad. Apparently I bear a slight resemblance to the guy which can only lead me to believe that he's very handsome. ...At least...the back of his head," he said rubbing the back of his hair.
He could not and did not hide his surprise. It was only when he realized his confused look could be mistaken for judgement that he forced his face into a more relaxed position.
"Oh. Well. That was...nice of them?" he said, questioningly.
