"Bruce Wayne wasn't always nice. Heroes can't always be nice." Charlie knew that from experience, not that he'd ever call himself a hero. He wasn't the type to worry about that; he just did his job and hoped things worked out for the best. Of course, he wouldn't mind being called a hero, not even a little bit. He wanted to be a good guy, and there were days he actually believed he was one.
"It's not bad." Charlie had seen his best friend's body, not exactly on purpose; they'd gone through showers at least once together. "Could use a little definition, but it's not bad. You're a very attractive man, Ted." The smile was genuine without being creepy or leering. No teasing.
"We could start swimming or working out together, but I want to see the spandex if you'll show me." He was curious to see what sort of hero Ted could be; he believed Ted of all people could be a very good hero. The business man was trying almost as hard if not harder than the detective to be a good man after all.
"Done." The food was magically finished, or so it would seem. He pulled the food from whatever fire it was over and turned to gather the plates.
