"Good." Charlie smiled, chopping, mixing, heating. He would have a nice breakfast with the one person he knew he could always depend on, even when they didn't see each other for long stretches of time. Yes, Jennifer was quickly becoming someone the detective trusted, but Ted had seen Charlie through some of his less than finer moments. Ted knew the darker side of Charlie Crews.
"You've got a good body. Could use a little more exercise, but it's good. Has Jo seen it?" Of course, the ginger cop wanted to know all about his friend's love life. And, he wasn't ashamed to say that he was glad Ted wasn't seeing a certain woman that made things awkward between them. Of course, Jo's age...well, he'd let that go for now.
"He's not Bruce Wayne." Charlie had heard of a brief Bruce Wayne sighting, but that had been a while ago. He'd heard of some change up in the Wayne business, or household. Yet, he wondered if it had all been some way to throw off suspicion that the Bat wasn't the Bat at all.
