Sam gave Dean a look that was equal parts exasperated and amused.
"So you really think that the only reason you and Dinah got together was because the City moved her into your place? And... you're okay with that?"
He pushed open the door to the outside once they reached it and stepped back out into the sunlight, which was now harsh against his eyes after the darkness inside the warehouse.
"Okay, so. It could be a trap. Or we could just start looking for a door that might fit this key. What do you think?"
Sam thought that if the City really wanted to trap them, it would have had easier ways of doing so than leading them on a wild goose chase. He still didn't know what the endgame was and that made him nervous, but it was what it was.
