"Yer mom. That's nice." Jesse smiled a bit, wandering over to where Wash sat now and taking up a spot beside him. This was definitely a strange turn of events, for sure. If he'd known that the information which had just come out would help Wash come to terms with the way things were, Jesse would have informed the poor guy earlier.
"Chocolate chess pie?" Jesse raised an eyebrow. "Can't never taste nothin you ain't even heard of."
He tried to imagine what it might be like to have something like this in his life, something that his mother made out of love that he could use to recall her fondly. Jesse decided it would be nice.
"I really would like to try and be yer friend, Wash. Ya seem like the kind of guy I'd get along well with. But I understand if it's too hard, or too weird. If it's what ya want, I'll do what I can to stay away from ya. Be sure to listen better to what people're sayin, so I don't accidentally pop into yer life again."
