"Nobody read the damn contract. It was so thick, even lawyers gloss over that shit. Think the first time it sunk in was when they brought in the mindreaders that first time. Did it fairly routinely. They'd read you, check to see you weren't trying to leave the company, weren't doing anything they didn't like... and if you were..."
