sorry somehow this one got away from me.
Lindsey looked at her, and considered. He licked at his lower lip.
"Good question. Dunno. Maybe a lil more classic rock than outright ballads. Kansas. Creedance. Things like that."
When she said she would sing, Lindsey sat up a little bit straighter. He definitely wouldn't have pegged her as a singer. He must be having a worse day than he thought.
"Alright. You're on."
He'd have to think of something good for her to sing. Lindsey nodded at the bartender for one more and excused himself for a second, heading toward the stage. He wanted to double check on that guitar. It was there, which was good. And he was free to use it, which was also good. He was back to the bar and Jo in under five minutes.
So if she wanted power ballads, he had one in mind. And a song of his to sing, too.
"So whaddyou like to sing?" he asked.
For Lindsey, he'd rather see people have a good time singing than anything else.
