When she said that she'd still want to be near him no matter what, Logan quickly closed the distance and swept her into his arms. He was glad she'd backpedaled a bit, but the statement was noted all the same.
Maybe what they had was some sort of unhealthy codependence, but he really didn't care if it was. There wasn't anything that would make him not want to be around her and it was good to hear that the feeling was mutual. At least for now.
