Things normal people would pick up on often seemed to pass the scientist by, as he typically wasn't one to notice such things. He was too busy trying to keep himself in check and keep his monster at bay to really pick up on signs, signals or cues from other humans or creatures.
He held nobody in the regard that they ever had intent, as well, which meant simply he didn't notice of anyone was following him. If it had been before he came to be in this world, he would've lived in constant paranoia and would constantly look over his shoulder. Here there was no real threat so Bruce wasn't as adept in noticing such things any longer. Perhaps that was his downfall, letting down his guard in such circumstances, but he had no reason to keep them built.
Especially when the one trying to be noticed was doing such a good job of hiding.
Bruce paused once more, checking his watch. He stood at the mouth of a dark alley, ignoring the people around him as they pushed past and crept further into the night. He hummed to himself, bringing up the application that would tell him where the buildings were (as they tended to shift) and looked for the old warehouse.
