Tink wasn't aware such words existed, not what intent would be behind such phrases and so words like that never even crossed her mind. She didn't have a vocabulary to suit that sort of mindset so the pixie would continue to greet and talk as she did.
At the sight of the tweezers, Tink's face contorted in curiosity and her eyebrows arched upward. She tried to keep herself still, as her friend asked, but she would simply fall out of the sky if she did. So she did her best.
Tink closed her eyes as the tweezers and the device came at her but she felt only a slight pressure and then it was over. The disk rested gently against her throat and she didn't even notice it.
Tink opened her eyes, and touched her neck able to feel the disk that rested against her skin. She tried to understand what Enigma was saying to her, not sure what a translation was.
"I don't know what that is." Tink said softly, the vibrations from her throat turning her bell chimes into plain English. Her voice was soft and elegant, having a bell-like sound of it own despite the words she was speaking.
It took a minute for her to register what had happened. "Can you understand me?" Tink asked, but the look on Enigma's face was answer enough. She could be understood!!
