Of course, Zoe couldn't just let him walk off alone. With an assist from the grappling gun, she took to the rooftops. If Wash had any idea how his ex-wife could move now, that little lewd act in the book would seem like nothing. Not that Zoe would point that out. Wash didn't need to know what his ex-wife could do now, in bed or out of it.
She followed him easily enough, moving with him and the buildings. It wasn't the first time she'd tailed someone, but it was possibly the first time she tailed someone she'd loved to death. For a moment, she considered asking Jesse for another map, but she didn't want him to get the wrong idea. She'd have to think about it.
The Batsuited Amazon had no idea what she was going to do once Wash got home, but she knew she had to check on him. Make sure he really was okay. He wasn't comfortable with the Bat, and she didn't think he would be comfortable with her. Though, she was the only one she knew he knew in the City...she'd figure something out. She had to know.
