"It's very good." Fred laughed, so very happy to be out in the sun. Her head tilted slightly as she looked at the young woman.
"Would you like some?" She offered up half the danish after quickly ripping it in two. She didn't mind the squirrels; it was kind of cute how they were crowding round her. They were just sweet little vermin that didn't want anything other than a few crumbs.
"I'm sorry. I'd ask you to join, but I need to ask two questions: are you an old friend of mine? and are you here to kill me? I know you could lie and say you're an old friend and no you don't want to kill me. I've had an issue with that as of late, but I'm hoping you aren't. So, would you like to join me and not kill me?" She smiled. "If you're an old friend, I can't promise to remember you. It's highly unlikely that I will."
