"You wish to disrupt the peace?" Pam didn't bristle; the question seemed very even. Her hands rested on the table, and she didn't seem to mind. Her body seemed so very still, which was something usual for her when she didn't have to keep up appearances. With another vampire, she didn't feel any need, even if he was a vampire of another sort.
"Good. I don't care to take care of it tonight." Pam would do many things that she didn't care to do. Her Maker never demanded loyalty; he could demand and force upon her many things, yet he didn't. She was happy with him, even when she considered what he would do if a wolf shat in his shoes. She never tried to find a wolf or even Eric's shoes. It might be amusing at first but it would come to nothing in the end.
"There are none of your kind that I know who visit. There are more of my kind, and they tend to be like the humans. Lacking something." A slight hint of a shrug accompanied the last bit.
