"Paths are like that. You have many forks in a road. Which one do you take? Well, you won't know what it is until you take it - if it will help you or hinder you." The crone smiled before shifting to look at him, really look at him, in his eyes. She actually seemed to be searching for something there. Her hands lifted to cup his chin and pull a little. She was much stronger than her small body suggested. A few moments later, if he didn't try to wriggle free, she let him go and sat back.
"Mmm, you are lost, but then there are so many here who are." It seemed so matter of fact. As if it really were nothing new. Her hands rested on her lap, but she didn't look at him. Her attention shifted to the cabin which had come closer.
"He's fine. He won't kill me yet. If he wanted that, he'd have tried already. Shoo. If he does kill me, you know where to go. Go play, shoo." She motioned for the cabin to be on its way again.
