Hulk was a scientist dream. The mere inkling that the beast dwelled within a normal man was enough to send a scientist into a frenzy. Especially if the government and military became involved. Bruce never wanted to be anyone's science experiment nor did he want to risk the chance of being caught and have this monster replicated for use as a weapon. That was the reason why he was running in the first place. At least, he had been before he came here.
"I'm sorry." He honestly was. He hadnt meant to bring such a weight down upon her but she had asked for it. So it wasn't entirely his doing.
"It tends to give perspective. I can see how you'd feel that. I feel it too. It makes me wonder what I was like as a normal human. Before this accident. I've looked back over my life before that point and all if it meant nothing. It was all a lot of trivial stuff I suppose, but I would give anything to have that meaningless life back. Even for just a day."
He shifted in his seat before emitting a sigh. "I've tried to combat this but I've yet to find a way to get around the genetic splicing. It's like I'm stuck with this thing...this monster. It doesn't want me to be rid of it so easily. There's only so much I can do."
