Well he didn't have to ask twice. To be honest, Wash didn't realize how very hungry he was. The burger, still an odd name and disturbing similar to the word "booger," was surprisingly satisfying and it was enough to distract him from the lingering night sky despite it being midday.
The flooding lights from the streets and open stores were enough to, in his periphery, make him believe The City was in daylight.
Wash wasn't used to eating so much at once. Small meals were a norm on the ship and continued to be the norm when Wash fed himself. So as the halfway point of the burger became near he put it down and wiped his mouth with the corner of his shirt (as he hadn't seen any napkins available. It wasn't his favorite shirt, anyway, and it needed to be washed.)
Not really aware that this might seal the man's perception of his homelessness, he folded up the foil around the uneaten portion to keep it for later. The grease was setting thick in his stomach anyway and he belched softly, this having been his body's first foray into processed food aside from the diner. This wouldn't have been his first choice, but one can't turn down free food!
In lieu of his hands no longer having anything to do he took out the phone he was given by Tony. Eventually having figured out the technology, he'd been exploring what substituted for The Cortex in this time period.
"Hey!" he said, breaking the silence that had only been filled by shifting paper and chewing. "I found this vid on the inter...web....the..." his hand worked to try to remember the antiquated network phrase. "Buh--the You Tube!" he finally blurted.
"You're not going to believe this. Lemme find it." Tongue out in concentration he slid now greasy finger along the slick surface of the device.
"Here it is!" he exclaimed with a gleam in his eye. He bounced a little in his seat. "Goats-yelling like humans! It's, I didn't think it was real because...but it is. Here. Gah! It's so great!"
He pushed play and directed the screen toward his food financier.
