Dean still wasn't eating. Dinah paused with her sandwich hovering in the air in front of her face. There weren't all that many reasons that her boyfriend would be uninterested in food. She might have missed the signals before now because she was tired and a little distracted from all of the concerns running through her brain, but it was hard to miss the hand on her thigh or the air of disappointment.
She smiled and set her sandwich down. Food could wait, as far as she was concerned.
Then again, she thought that he had a point about Sam.
She sighed and mumbled something about timing. Timing did seem to be an issue with the two of them, even now that they were living together. There never seemed to be enough of it. Not with the fact that the City couldn't stop throwing badness at everyone for very long.
Speaking of timing... Dinah could have kicked herself when she took a moment to think about exactly what day it was. Or more importantly, what day she'd missed by just a tiny amount.
She leaned over and caught Dean's lips in hers. The kiss was warm and promised more to come, though she did give him breathing room not long after.
"You should call him. I need to go get something from my old room anyway."
After all, she pretty much just used her room for the closet and dresserspace now that she was spending her nights in his bed. Or their bed, as it were.
