Tony had a point about the scrolling sign, and Wash nodded to it as he stroked the barely visible scruff on his chin.
Wash's eyes widened at the suggestion that his hair was turning white. He stroke the overgrown mess self-consciously with a concerned 'hm'.
"You're right. I do. I mean, I was her husband. Our bed was never boring! And! I'm dashingly handsome! I was thinking poetry," he said. "Something florid and metaphorical-like. I'm good with words. This has been a really good conversation. Real inspiring. You know, for a guy who almost ran me over you're not a terrible person!"
