Lindsey nodded. The kid knew where to find him, and there were cards out on Andrea's desk with a proper phone number and address, just in case the City decided to move the damn building again.
He smiled slightly at Lecter's words. "Not a problem," Lindsey said. He didn't have an overabundance of clients, but even so. "Usually like to at least hear people out. And I'm glad I can give Ms. Tam some help."
He'd made it plain that he wasn't a fan of what had been done to her.
"I'll walk you out to the door," Lindsey said. His Southern mother wouldn't have had it any other way.
Once Lecter was gone, Lindsey turned to Andrea, running a hand through his hair.
"I called the florist," she said brightly.
"Okay. Listen. I need you to track down a couple copies of movies."
Andrea picked up a pen and waited. "You want DVDs, right?"
Lindsey made a face. "Yes," he said, bluntly. "There're a few. 'Hannibal,' 'The Silence of the Lambs,' and 'Red Dragon.'
Andrea scribbled. She nodded.
"No. Seriously. Get up now. Go find them. Right now."
Lindsey went back into his office, still not that worried or upset, or even scared, and thought about the events of the morning for a moment, organizing River's file on his desk.
"Fucking none of those were questions," he muttered. "And you're goddamn right I'm good looking and good at my job."
