Enigma slipped into the room, her face brightening as she caught sight of Erik, lighting up and shining. She herself looked better then she had even before the attack, but even then, all traces of what Joker had done to her had vanished, leaving nary the slightest scratch.
“Erik, you're looking....incredible, actually,” she said, her eyes roaming over him, trying to find something out of place, but not finding the smallest detail missing. She had forgotten over the past few months...how incredible he could look when healed...and she suddenly felt very under-dressed, a feeling she wasn't used to considering she usually ran around mostly naked.
She crossed the room, stopping just before him, still examining him, still...searching. The man before her held a piece of her and it tormented her while he had been ill and she couldn't do anything, and then he just...vanished.
Again.
To see him in full health, it was amazing and she wanted to see through whatever illusion he was projecting to see the reality.
