Bruce had been doing everything he knew how to do in order to help Enigma heal, but her condition seemed to only stabilize and not seem to progress or regress, which was frustrating to Bruce. He hated watching her suffer, but he couldn't leave her alone in hopes of finding the man who had hurt her so badly. He wanted the Joker dead, and he would find the man and repay him for this in his own time. Bruce had never been the type for vengeance, but this was different. He had hurt the woman Bruce loved, his future wife, and Bruce wasn't going to stand idly by as she suffered without tracking he joker down and showing his wrath. Joker picked the wrong couple to mess with. Bruce would tear this city down brick by brick looking for him of that was what it took.
When Enigma sent Marcus and Timmy out to fetch Damon, Bruce was in the kitchen, preparing lunch for Enigma, some soup and some juice, trying to keep her vitals stable and her body both nourished and quenched, as it would help her immune system to heal her body. She would probably never be normal again once everything was healed, but she has recovered from a hulk attack, and she was strong, so Bruce wasn't terribly worried about her condition after she healed.
When Marcus and Damon entered the building, Jarvis murmured into Bruce's ear piece that Enigma had company, not someone that the AI was familiar with, which put Bruce on alert. He left the tray where it was, willing to come back for it in a bit, rushing to the staircase, ascending it quickly. He reached the floor that they were living on, the same one Enigma was using to heal, and pushed through the door in time to see a familiar face standing next to the bedside of his soon to be bride.
Lucky for Bruce, he hadnt seen the transference of blood from Damon to Enigma, but he did move over to the pair, stepping up beside Damon, eyes narrowed, "I remember you. The last time I saw you, I did everything in my power not to hit you. Why are you here?" Bruce growled, irritated that the man who had caused both of them so much pain was standing in a place of refuge for the scientist. He had a feeling that Enigma had invited him, and if that was the case, Bruce was going to be very unhappy about that. He didn't care that she had friends, but this particular one had almost come between them, therefore his presence just then wasn't a welcomed one.
