Bruce covered his hesitation with a smile. He glanced toward Alfred and nodded. The man was giving him the 'Go on, Master Bruce' look. Bruce tamped down his discomfort.
"He has indeed told me much of it," Bruce answered, dropping his elbow to the arm of the chair, and his chin to the fist he made. He'd just allowed a stranger to continue working with him under the persona he'd chosen for himself. It did not sit well with him. But all the information he'd uncovered and his interview with Zoe led him to believe that the woman was an asset -- enough of one to risk the consequences of allowing her to share his cowl.
But what of this Justice League? Bruce considered the blonde sitting across from him, considered the pointed looks Alfred was giving him... He considered the footage, the research, the details, the secrets he'd learned. "You're working with a young lady, these days," he said at last.
