Christmas comes a little early....(Enigma)
Bruce had had enough of being without her, it was far too much to bear to be away from Enigma any longer, and so, despite what his head was telling him, Bruce set out for the Opera. It wasn't though his head was against their relationship, it just didn't make sense to jump back into something so volitile, but this time the heart won. By a mile. They had been apart for too long, besides the meeting that they had a few days ago where Enigma had brought Timmy to Stark Tower for him, and they had had a moment, he and Enigma. It was that point that had sealed the deal for Bruce, so to speak, as far as where he stood in their strange relationship. All he could do was hope that she would never hurt him as bad as she had before, and he guessed that she probably learned her lesson the first time considering that she, and everyone else, had gotten a chance to meet his other, larger half.
So, Bruce had set out, and arrived at the Opera House, unsure if the young woman would even be there. She was so hard to find, but that was probably because she wanted to be, and he was sure that if he went to see Edward, he would know where she was. They had seen each other already, and it wasn't a good idea for them to be alone together, considering they had had a small fight which had ended in a rather bloody manner. But that was before this day. That didn't matter any more. He just happened to realize that Enigma was close to her father and probably would've mentioned where she would be, if he was even still at the warehouse. Of course, there was Marcus, and that was who Bruce called, mentioning the plan to him. Bruce left Enigma a note at the Opera House something that asked her to come by Stark Tower, that she could walk in the front door this time because Bruce would ask Jarvis to grant her access to the elevator, and to meet him on their floor when she was ready.
He couldn't make her come see him, this was simply a gesture that Bruce was issuing as a resolve for their past problems. He wanted to be with her, he loved her, and they should be together before the holiday arrived, which was coming up quickly. He thanked the ticket taker for taking his message for Enigma, and walked back to Stark Tower to finish his preparations.
He and Timmy had been very busy creating this surprise, and he hoped that it would be everything she could ever dream of. Especially since they were going to be a family again. He had a feeling that he wouldn't have much time, so he put a move on getting back home.
When he arrived at the Tower, Bruce took the stairs up to their floor, bypassing the lab for the first time ever in his life, and slipped through the doorway that lead to their floor from the stairwell, moving into the room to finish preparations.
"Jarvis, let me know when she arrives."
"Yes, Dr. Banner." Jarvis replied in the same monotone voice that Tony had given him, earning a happy sigh from Bruce.
