Pam didn't give him a look. The most he got was a slight lift of a brow. That was all the stranger got. She glanced around then back at him. She didn't point out the people who looked very much like tourists, nor did she point out the ones in plaid who seemed confused by which way to look.
"It doesn't matter what you say. You can go if you want." She nodded to the bartender who was trying to get her attention. "I can't babysit you. I need to work." That was all he got. At least he was lucky enough to get an explanation of why she was walking away.
