What was she talking about, dead humans? What kind of a place was this? "Isn't that just human nature?" He inquired of her softly, moving to stand to the side of the line, closer to her, so as to allow other patrons access to the entrance where they both now were standing. But, she was right, curiousity did kill the cat, however he was sort of unable to die but the prospect that humans did possible expire within the walls of this place did put him a little bit on alert. He was a genuis, after all, and the wheels of his mind spun constantly, which gave him a feeling of unease.
He waited alongside Pam as she continued to do her work, glancing around at the street as well as at the faces of some of the potential clientele, suddenly feeling very underdressed and totally out of place. There were so many different types of people, though perhaps some of them weren't human at all though Bruce had no way of knowing that for sure. When Pam's replacement arrived to give her relief from the patrons that seemed to be dying to get in, Bruce watched as the exchange of the position took place, glad the interesting woman was now free from her duty. What that meant exactly, he wasn't sure.
When she motioned for Bruce to follow her into the club, he sighed softly, unsure for a moment, before allowing his curiousity to get the better of him, turning to walk after her, staying close just in case anything might happen. If she wasn't a special creature, he could at least protect her, if she was special, perhaps she might be the one watching over him. As he followed Pam into the club, Bruce noticed that the interior was different, like it didn't seem to mesh together as if someone took two places and sliced them down the middle, then sewed them haphazardly back together to combine them in such a crude way. Like a frankenstein of sorts.
He looked at the unhappy mix of patrons, those ones she mentioned that were curious, the ones in flannel that didn't seem to belong there despite the differences in the building that brought it more together. He then glanced over at the gothic patrons, whom seemed like mere puppies trying to earn their way into the pack. That was certainly interesting. "Like I said, it's only human to be curious." He breathed out, glancing over at his host with a nod, "Of course I'm curious. I've never seen a place like this before." The mixture of people co-existing in one place was almost breathtaking in a way, though he was well aware of the feeling of danger that lurked in the shadows.
Slowly, he began to feel a little anxious, which was never a good thing.
