"Maybe. Would that work?" Dinah asked with a sweet smile.
She wouldn't downplay the potential threat that he represented, but she was joking all the same. She had done a lot of thinking about some of the things Fred had said and she wasn't sure what the answer was with the Eric situation. She had noted that he could have killed her easily and had chosen to heal her. She didn't now what that meant. She did know that he'd left Dean for dead, so he wasn't anywhere close to a knight in shining armor.
But was he human enough that it was wrong to kill him without at least trying to find another way to make sure he didn't hurt anyone?
She didn't know. Vampires weren't exactly a part of her normal life back home, and things had gotten very muddled upon landing in the City with all of the supernatural craziness that was here.
She considered the question, not sure how much information she should give up about Jesse. She didn't want to pique the vampire's interest too much. Especially when it might put Zoe in his path.
"He's sort of like a regular guy in some ways," she said. "It's easy to forget who he really is until something happens and he's there to help."
She looked over at him.
"How are things going with the bar? I'm surprised that you and Jo were able to find a way to work together."
She was very surprised. Even if there were supposedly protection spells in place, she wouldn't have put it past Eric and his vampires to try to hurt Jo or the other hunters somewhere else in the City.
