That was not welcome information at all. His new family. Dinah had a sinking feeling that he meant more than his new wife. If he was going around turning people, then they had even more trouble than she'd thought.
She wasn't relaxed, but Eric hadn't attacked her from the start. Then again, she wouldn't put it past him to make small talk first. That's what had happened last time.
"I'm an atheist. Or I used to be before I met God," she confided. "I find it interesting that the Christian religion seems to believe they invented this time of year when most of the traditions were taken from Pagan traditions."
She might not be computer-savvy, but she did like to read and research things the old-fashioned way.
She sighed and looked over at Eric.
"So you're doing what-checking out the Christmas things to decide what to bring home to your family?"
It was a strange thought, but she managed it without all that much sarcasm. Mostly.
