His eyelids lowered a little as she spoke. He sat back against the tree, looking at colors that were suddenly brighter than normal. But it didn't cause his head to hurt anymore. It was pleasant. He was at ease, suddenly, and he didn't know why.
"Give in?" he asked lazily. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
He nodded in compliance.
"Help is nice," he agreed. He looked at her then, really looked at her.
"Why do you want to help me?" he asked leaning, now, languidly against the bark.
