He had never wanted her to leave, the situation itself prompted it, but it had never been something he had ever asked her to do. It was too hard being without her, so to have her leave would be like death itself, again. He couldn't take that anymore.
"I can handle Tony." Bruce replied, into their kiss, repeating the connection again, unable to help himself. Finally, he pulled back and just held onto her, closing his eyes as he embraced her, unwilling to let her go.
"Your dad is going to be unhappy about this, I can tell. I need to talk to him. Crane too." Bruce said, because that meeting was inevitable and he may as well get it out of the way sooner, rather than later. No point in dragging it out.
