“It's hard not to cry when it hurts, Bruce,” she whispered, allowing him to wipe her eyes, trying to keep control of her emotions even when she'd much rather just sob her broken heart out. “It hurts so much and it never stops and anything I do just reminds me of how miserable I am without you.”
