Anywhere there was even the remote hint of a party being held, Edward was going to be there wether he was invited or not. Crashing parties was high on his agenda of acceptable things to do, however this one he was actually invited to via Enigma, his daughter, and lead Diva in the Carmen role. This made him very proud, although he would never tell her that, he wanted her to keep trying to vie for his affection, it made the end result much better when at last he would acknowledge her finally. Until then, however, he was just going to keep riding out the time, and doing as he pleased in the meantime.
He wasn't going to not accept the invitation, especially considering he couldn't sleep anyway, and it was inevidable that he would eventually show up. He was already at the gala, mingling with the crowd, more than standing out amongst all of the other people. That was just his way. He was tall, for starters, with flaming red hair, and it didn't help that he wore all green almost all of the time, a color which one could easily pick out of a crowd if it was dominant, which this was. Upon his usual attire of green slacks, green shoes, green shirt, vest and jacket, he wore a large, floor length fur coat in the same green color, one which hid his guns quite well. He always packed heat, no matter where he was, it was just something he couldn't help doing. Never knew when that would be useful. His green gloved fingers curled around the top part of the golden question mark cane he held onto, not because he needed it, but because he used it as a weapon as well as a fashion accessory.
He had sent his friend Jonathan Crane off to get him a drink, scanning the gala for any avaliable oppertunity to cause mischief, not even aware that Enigma had finally managed to join the party. He was aware of her turmoil recently, and hoped secretly that the man who'd hurt her so badly would show up. Eddie would just love to put a bullet in him. That would make this night more pleasureable, at least. For now, he waited, settled by a small table of cheese and crackers, waiting on his date to get back with drinks.
