He looked over the drawing, the one he'd kept close to his heart for all of that time, he smiled a little at the newest edition to the drawing. He was rather find of the change. It suited the time, and she was so grown up now, it was obvious by the hand that had added the teenaged girl to the drawing once made by the same little girl.
It warmed his heart. Just a tiny bit.
He folded it up and stuck the drawing back into the pocket if his coat where it belonged, the inner breast pocket to be exact, and sighed.

He lurked around the city for a few hours more, before finding himself at the cafe, almost wondering why he had bothered to come. He had tried to kill her, had she forgiven him? Doubtful.
