Eddie watched as his daughter surveyed the box, amused at the way she had opened it up, a smirk replacing the amusement on his lips as she cowered as if the box would explode. Maybe he should've included a confetti explosion, but it was too late now. Maybe next time. He enjoyed greatly how she knew just where to find the next clue, they were on the same riddling wavelength and that made it much more enjoyable.
He hadnt, of course, been prepared for her to take the drawing and leave, because it was his. He huffed, folding his arms over his chest as he waited, a grueling two hours it seemed, before he heard the car approaching the building. He watched in surprise as Marcus shuffled out, taped the envelope to the door, and then drove away.
Curious.
He stepped out of the shadows, shoulders back to bring him to his full height, approaching the steps to the warehouse. He kicked aside the empty box, and pulled the envelope off of the door, opening it up.
