The Amazon smiled at her...husband. Was he still her husband when they'd gone through the death do them part bit? She nodded and gathered up the food stuffs he'd had in his pockets as well as those things she'd put in her basket. She didn't want him to go without food after all.
She paid for it, and they were soon out the door, walking. Zoe didn't say anything at first. She didn't know what to say, where to start, how. She carried part of the groceries in silence without having a true direction.
"We should get these home-to your-in a fridge." It wasn't as easy for her as some might think. She had a good bit of herself together, and being overly emotional in general wasn't normal. "Tea, there is probably tea in your place. You have a place?" As if it just hit her.
"Do you? Bunk, quarters, mess?" She was concerned. Why wouldn't she be?
