"I think I was asking about both." She ran a hand through her hair and shook her head slightly. "It's hard to know where to start when asking questions about something like this."
She understood all too well what Jesse was trying to say. It might be strange coming from Jo, but she preferred her higher power types to take a hands-off approach. She'd seen what could happen when beings like angels suddenly thought that they could control what would happen with people's lives. She was very squarely on team free will, even if that meant that sometimes bad things happened to good people.
"I just wish that the City shared your hands-off approach," she said to Jesse. She bit her lip thoughtfully. "I mean, in a lot of ways I'm grateful to it for pulling me away instead of letting me die. But there are times when I wonder how much balance it's upset by bringing in people that are supposed to be dead. And that's not even thinking about the people who I left behind when I died. Some of them are here and I'm not sure it's easy for them to see me alive like this."
She'd maybe shared more than she normally would, but she figured that if Jesse was as all powerful as she believed he was, he could probably have figured that all out for himself. Of course, if Jo realized that Jesse knew Dean, she might not have brought the people that found it painful to have her brought back to life at all.
