He wasn't a bartender, he'd, in fact, never stood behind the bar at all in a working aspect. It wasn't his place. It wasn't his job to know drinks. So he knew that he was describing things badly, and it frustrated him.
"I don't mean the ones that are mixed together such as that. The ones where you put the two kinds of liquor into the same glass, but they don't actually mix. They remain apart."
If he knew how to make one, he'd do it. If he even knew the name of one that already existed, he would have told her.
"Something that can signify the two bars."
He waved a hand dismissively. "One of those things that intrigues humans with the simple science that goes behind it."
