Dr. Crane didn't need to wait for an answer as Lois was ready to fall into step with him. She already had her notebook out and studied the doctor, attempting to take the measure of him as she did so. She tended to try to get a read on people and she had learned that what was left unsaid or simply the facial expressions and body language during an interview was just as powerful as the words that were used.
"So how long have you been with the asylum, Dr. Crane?" she asked. She wasn't one to wait and she could very easily walk, talk, and take notes.
