She was being kinder to him than his other half really deserved but he appreciated it. She was kind, especially agreeing not to publish his story for everyone in town to read. He nodded at her when she said that there were some things that people just needed to say, and of course he enjoyed having a neutral party to talk to.
He was sure that they would become fast friends.
He took the card from her and looked it over, "Lois Lane." He said aloud, voice soft however, and looked up at her with a smile, "thanks. You should be running though, instead of trying to talk it down." He explained, but he was grateful just the same.
