In Maggie's estimation, it would be difficult to resume her place at After the End Times without Mahir and Alaric, or any of the beta bloggers they'd picked up along the way. Again, her heart clenched at the thought of her friends and their absence.
But as she'd said, she'd started at the bottom before. As long as she had an internet connection, she'd be fine.
"I've never done traditional media before," she said, smoothing out her jacket and scarf. "It could be worth looking into." She said it with only the slightest distaste. She'd developed the resentment and suspicion of traditional media fostered among bloggers. But this place wasn't home, she reminded herself. It was something worth trying.
"I'd like that," she said, nodding briskly. "At least for the moment. It's been interesting, Doctor."
