Tinker Bell simply wanted to know things about Christine that she could share with a friend, things like what kind of work she was in, the activities she did in the City, the friends she had made, or anything interesting she might want to share with the fairy. Nothing personal of course, but it wasn't like Tink knew anyone to spread rumors about, nor could anyone understand her anyway.
When Christine repeated the name of her home, Neverland, Tink beamed, "Yes!" She chimed, "Neverland!"
When Christine asked to know more, Tink shrugged her shoulders, "I live in a world where children never grow up, we don't get sick and we never have to go home and follow rules." She explained in a chime, speaking slowly so Christine could understand her. "The Lost Boys live there. They had homes once, but Peter found them and brought them to Neverland so they could play and fight pirates and never have to worry about not being able to eat or not having anyone to play with." They were all sort of lost in a way, and Neverland brought all of them together.
"And then Peter brought Wendy and the Darlings...." Tink said, her eyes narrowing with hate for the girl Wendy. "Peter loved to bring new children to see our world, in hopes of getting more to stay and be happy with being children." She explained slowly, her voice holding almost a sad tone of chime, "Peter and I came to the Earth a lot of times, but only to see the Darlings, or to find lost children."
