Christine closed over her wardrobe doors and carefully held the scarf in hand. Once Tinker Bell moved over to the table she had Christine looked in her drawer for the sewing kit she had. She had to keep it on hand for her pointe shoes and her own clothing. It’s normal for her to sew her own clothing and she would continue to do so for as long as she had to. All ballet girls in the Opera had to fix their own clothing, unless it came to costumes, if anything happened.
“We’ll measure you and then I’ll put it together,” she told her softly.
She found the little measuring tape she had and worked on her height and width, just so it would be big enough to fit over her. Once she had that done she worked on the same pattern of Tinker Bell’s current dress and soon had it ready for her. It was quick to style, cut and sew given her small stature.
