Christine placed her bags on the floor by her bed and turned to see Tinker Bell looking around her room. She was soon at the window which Christine could not blame her for. She adored her view and it was one of the reasons she had picked that room in particular. She liked to sit by the window and look out. It helped to clear her head.
"Mermaids?" she repeated, frowning. Christine had heard tales of such things but had never considered them to be real. Then again, she had never considered the fact that fairy's could apparently be real until she came across the one opposite her. "Not that I know of."
But if Tinker Bell existed then what was to say mermaids did not? She was not sure if she would like to find out or not. It could be interesting, surely. Not that Christine knew much of the fantasy creatures. It seemed her friend knew more than she did at least. When Tinker Bell agreed to finding something for a dress, Christine nodded and moved to her wardrobe. She had a few scarves that would do. Thick enough to cover her but thin enough to not be too warm. She wouldn't mind giving one or two of them up to make a dress for her until they found the chance to go buy material she liked.
