Annie gleefully tossed her things inside the car and then returned to Tony's side. She was totally in the mood for a walk and was glad that he wasn't insisting that she needed shoes to take part in that. Sure, her feet might get fairly filthy, but that's nothing that a shower or a bath wouldn't cure. Annie was definitely not afraid of getting dirty.
Without being invited to, she slipped her arm back around his, no longer worried about having to keep track of shoes or that absurd little bag. There was nothing wrong with getting fancy and looking nice, Annie had decided, as long as she didn't have to do it every day it was kind of fun. She'd felt like a princess and a movie star all wrapped into one. She'd felt elegant, too, which was a new experience. She'd enjoyed the looks from the men and the admiration or catty jealousy of the women. Those were both things she'd never thought she'd ever have a chance to have directed at her, let alone enjoy.
"Are we wandering aimlessly?" She asked, though she didn't really care if they were going somewhere or nowhere. It was a nice night. Annie could see the stars, and noted that they weren't the same stars as the last time she'd looked up. It was weird, but sort of fun. There were no pre-determined constellations that always caught the eye and removed the joy of imagination.
