Annie smiled at the man who was their waiter, hoping that he wasn't going to take her seriously about what he must have overheard. Though, she supposed that if it did happen now, he could only blame himself if he didn't expect it.
"I don't think I could talk about shoes for any longer than that." She glanced at her shoes, pulling one of her feet out from under the table to do so. "But that boutique, that's where. That's the end of my shoe conversation. Willing and knowledge combined."
She knew that there were girls out there that could talk endlessly about clothes, Annie didn't think she'd ever be one of them.
