Annie liked the idea of putting her newly-budding development projects onto the USB and having it with her at all times. She could even put security on it that nobody would be able to get past. It could be the tiny digital version of Fort Knox. Probably better, though, if she was going to be honest. She'd taken some time to look at the security for the fabled place and had found a few flaws she would have corrected.
She fingered the pendant and decided that she really liked where it landed, and that the chain didn't need to be adjusted or changed. It was long enough to dangle just below the hollow of her throat, short enough that it wouldn't tangle on anything else or slip over her head, long enough to not choke her if she fell asleep wearing it.
Having it put on like that had felt very nice. She understood the movie's moment more now. Though she was still a bit lost as to what it might mean here, for her. Annie knew that Tony appreciated straightforwardness, but she couldn't break through her concern of rejection and the worry of losing this job. Logic said that Tony wouldn't fire her just for having a crush, but when it came to certain things, Annie's logic wasn't holding up so well.
"Well, that might be fun." She said, turning around to face him again and thinking about somebody else working here. "Does that mean I get to boss him around?"
Annie didn't think that was going to happen, but the thought of telling somebody older than herself what to do was pretty amusing. Older, and likely taller. Most males were taller than she was.
"You're going to plot to make us competitive, aren't you?" She didn't want to correct him that she was already one of the City's top tech dogs, she might have had an ego, but she wasn't into out and out boasting like he was. Besides, without her powers, she really wasn't much of anything when it came to more complicated machines. But with them, well, with them, she could talk to the Ironman suit in a way that not even Tony could.
"What kinds of things will Employee of the Month get?"
