Annie watched Tony move through the lab space and hop up onto the table. She wondered how quickly somebody was going to call for him or she'd get a call from Megan with an urgent fix at the shop.
"It didn't start out that way. I was going to make something else, something a little bit more complicated. But it might have been a bit of a jump. I understand how to make it, I just don't have the skill yet." She nabbed the screw and eyed the box, curious, but unwilling to fall for the obvious taunt. At least that fast. "Instead of dismantling the whole project, I decided to try and copy... the arm."
Annie steadfastly refused to call it Dummy. It might have been a term of endearment from Tony, but it felt like he was the only one who should call it by that name.
She shrugged as she finished putting the screw in place and smiled. "I think it's turning out nicely. I just need a bit more wiring for the power source, and it should be done."
