"Then maybe you should listen." He replied, being honest. He didn't want to see her get hurt. "Enigma, there are plenty of men out there that would worship the ground you walk on. They should be trying to be first in line to be with you." He explained, trying to be motivating. He didn't want to be the bearer of bad news, but it was true. She was an amazing young woman and she should be able to have a man that would treat her as such.
He felt her leg brushing his and shrugged his shoulders at her casually, "I've been working on another experiment." He said softly, looking down at the table again, "it's based on seeing wether or not I can actually die. So far, it's been a no." He told her. "Other than that I haven't really left my room much. I don't have a reason to." And that was true. He didn't know anyone other than her, and trying to get anyone in that warehouse to cooperate was like pulling teeth.
