Of course, this man had only been in this city for a few days, and he had only really gotten to know one person, and he could agree that she was a little bit different than most people he knew. He did know that the City changes, the building move and the rooms were just as jumpy, which was why he had to mark certain things, like the door to his apartment, to know which was which. However, he was unaware of the crazy she was talking about, in relation to some of the people that were lurking and roaming the streets. He could take care of himself, but pity the fool that tried to harm him, or even make him a midnight snack.
"Really? Like Vampires?" He inquired, offering her a comforting smile, "Vampires don't really exist, do they? Or are you doing all of this research because you think you saw one and you're trying to figure out 1) if that's what you believe you really saw, and 2) how to get rid of it." Oh, Bruce, your genius is showing. Of course he didn't really believe that vampires existed. That was a fairytale to scare children and make women wish for a darker life. Right?
"What is with all of those books anyway?" He inquired, looking at the small stack of vampires and fiction that she'd piled on her table, which definitely made his science books look WAY less interesting.
