"Not feelin so hot, huh?" Jesse reached behind to where he'd pushed the cups and grabbed the one with the tea and held it out for her. "Don't seem like you got more'n a cold, though. Ain't never had a cold before, have ya."
He knew from the way she'd talked about her old life that medicine in the future - or her future - was a lot more advanced. Jesse didn't think that stupid things like colds and the flu were around where she came from.
"Well, yer doin the right things so far. Restin up, got yer soup and yer tea. All cuddled in and warm. But ya should have more blankets." He stood up to go get them but paused. "You don't got a fever, do ya?"
