Christine's head lifted with his coaxing and her eyes met his. She wished she knew how he felt about the kiss so she knew where she stood with him but it would appear now was not the time. He had something else in mind. That subtly flex and grunt got her attention and she frowned, all worries of the kiss leaving her. Something wasn't right and could she be blamed for worrying straight away before knowing what it was? She hoped not. She cared deeply for him and if something was wrong then she wanted to know.
He had not been composing? Why had she not been told as such? Her worrying over his disappearance still took a hold of her when she had been told that he was safe. But now that she knew it was a lie she was rather angry. Enigma, if she had known, should have told the truth. She reached out to place a hand on his left one given he had both rubbed and flexed that one now. Enigma had not even called for a doctor? Had she been so full of her own importance that she had not thought on doing so? However the moment he mentioned Enigma staying her eyes lifted to him and away from his hand.
"She does not like me," she said quietly. She could tell she did not from the way she acted around her though she did not know why. Christine had only ever been kind to her. "But I cannot argue with a decision you have made about your own home. Though I must insist you do not worry over her too much and focus on yourself. You must see a doctor at once."
